Last Thursday..

was a hoot. Unfortunately, I was unable to get pictures but it was such a fun time. Mr. Phip brought in some pumpkin stew which was delicious. People scarfed that right down. The beautiful Ms. Kipp brought in some cookies. As per usual, Sean, Brian, Julia, Chris, Max, Madeline, John, the Mike brothers, were there... There were between 15 and 20 people the whole time.

We went back and forth from the cafeteria and the front to get our tea. We call this the journey. Sean, Max and Madeline came with me and we had such great energy. We were promoting our underground psycho-social revolution with such revved up energy. Max was able to really get the point across to some cuties.

See you later this afternoon!

Subdued Tuesday, still a great day.

Our energy lacked a little today. That does not mean that it wasn't good enough, but it just seemed that people were a bit more relaxed and didn't have as much inspiration, for whatever reason.

Casandra was here, Maddie was around, John P, Mike, Shelby, the beautiful Ms. Kipp, Mr. Phippen, Sean MFC, myself, new additions Kate, James, and Ethan were on hand... Frances, another new addition was on hand. Rose and Mason, the most beautiful couple on campus were again a part of the scene.

The wonderful Ms. Carlin was able to take pictures and help document our experience. I am very grateful for all of her hard work.

Mr. Sinclair stopped for a hot second then went on his merry way. John P got us all some food which was such a sweet gesture. I am very grateful to him for giving the group some life. Sometimes just tea doesn't do it.

Our other Mike and Brian were not in attendance... Brian was sorely missed, that's for sure.

Everyone seemed really chill and relaxed.

What's really cool is that each time I get another pot of tea, I am greeted by the wonderful cafeteria workers. Sean, Maria, Pat, all of them are such amazing people. They always treat me with such love and such respect. If he sold me that hot water, Sean would be a rich man.

Every time that I make the journey to get another pot of tea, Sean Curry is always there to walk there and back with me. It's really nice because we're able to exchange something really nice... we're able to connect, check out the beautiful women on campus, talk about the interesting people that we come across, and just laugh. Just enjoying life.

The beautiful Ms. Kipp was on hand and that made me really happy, she came with me on the journey to get hot water for the tea today!

Here are some pictures, I hope that you all enjoy!

And it grows

This past Thursday was yet another success. Mr. Phippen again came, requesting his cup of tea in his Miami Dolphins mug.

For Ms. Julia Carlin, it was her day of atonement. Happy New Year! Unfortunately she had to fast all day so her energy was pretty low.

Mr. Sinclair and I put on an acting skit in which no one really paid attention to. He took my girlfriend away from me. I was definitely jealous. Basically, as I acted, I told him that he could never give Natasha multiple orgasms the way that I do.

As usual, Mr. Sean MFC was in the house, as was the beautiful Ms. Kipp. Maddie cakes was in attendance, her usual charming self. She is such a sweetheart, what good energy she has. Max came in for a brief second, the handsome dread head gym rat.

Brian was again a part of this madness, but he never partakes in the tea ceremony. So, because he doesn't actually drink the tea, I always pass by him and ask him if he'd like more, and he says yes... I just pour the tiniest bit of tea right on the floor right next to him.

Allie came by, who is a new member. Natasha passed by as well...

We have been graced by the most beautiful couple on campus, Mason and Rose. Such beautiful people, really. Mr. Hilshire was not able to attend unfortunately.

Another successful day~

Organic raisin oatmeal cookies from Tuesday!

made by Kaya and Ashley. They are these two beautiful women who come from the Germantown CSA farmer's deal, I don't know exactly what it is named. I've known Kaya since 2003 when I worked at Irving Farm, the local coffee house in Millerton. She would come and visit her friend Betaya and she would always give me such beautiful energy. Her smile, her presence, the way she walked and talked, she just exuded such knowing wisdom. Her gentle approach always struck me as being so wise and beyond. Her boyfriend at the time was willing to help me get a wood stove installed for my mother and I. We went through some pretty rough times in that old Victorian house. I moved out, now I live in my own studio.

These cookies had raisins, oatmeal bits, and organic goat's milk in them. They were so tasty.

Max, one of our newest people, is a tall African American guy with long beautiful dreads. At first he was like, "Yo man, I don't do tea". By the end of the tea party, he must have had like five or six cups.

Mr. Sinclair was in attendance, as was John P, Shelby, the beautiful Ms. Kipp, Ms. Carlin, the two Mikes.

Mr Phippen and Mr Hilshire stopped on by... Trevor and Madeline were there. Rose and Mason stopped by... Brian was there.

We had so many beautiful people. This group is really coming together. People are just being people and expressing themselves. I always thought that community colleges should be more community oriented. Maybe this is really happening, let's keep our fingers crossed.

Shelby is going to send me some pictures from this time, hopefully I will get them soon.

From rice krispie treats to Russian tea cakes!

The coolest teacher in the world, my current math teacher, brought over some Russian tea cakes. I don't know exactly what makes them so Russian, but they were darn good. Everyone had a couple and I may have eaten about five or six. It's okay, my metabolism seems to be holding up so far.

The general vibe seemed pretty good until Ms. Carlin started taking pictures of Brian. Brian does not like his pictures to be taken. He said that when you get your picture taken it's like they're taking a picture of your soul. You know, there's part of me that agrees with that. In the past I would dislike it when someone would take my picture. I would really get pissed off when someone would take my picture without asking permission. Generally speaking, there ought to be some etiquette for taking pictures of others. Not everyone wants their pictures to be taken, and you ought to be asked if it's okay to get your picture taken. Now I really don't care if my picture gets taken by a group of friends randomly, but if I don't know you, I'm not sure what you're going to do with that picture.

In any case, the vibe was really doing well, then it went down. I had to take a little break from the rough energy so I started up my second pot of tea.

Today we had five or six pots of tea. Let me try and recall.

The first pot of tea was our Yerba Mate from Argentina infused with peppermint. I like this tea because it makes me feel high. You know?

The second pot of tea was a lychee nut flavored black tea. This is Sean Curry's new favorite tea. He loved it, Sean mothafuckin' Curry, this guy is the coolest cat on campus, no doubt. If you don't think so, I'll throw my body guard on you, that's Brian. You know, the Brian who will kick your ass if you take his picture. Hehe :)

Our third pot of tea was an oolong tea called Wenshan Baozhong. This tea is reminiscent of Jasmine tea. Jasmine has a very sweet, buttery, floral quality to it.

For the fourth, we did a re-infusion of the Wenshan Baozhong.

Oh, by the way, the lovely Ms. Kipp was in attendance. She's awesome. Actually she is the beautul Ms. Kipp.

The final and last pot was another shot of lychee flavored black tea.

1) Everyone gathers, people cheer for me when I bring out first pot of tea.
2) The lovely Ms. Kipp is in attendance, my energy gets happier.
3) Mr. P brings in Russian tea cakes, he's the coolest mf teacher on campus, ya heard?
4) Shaquille Sinclair is off his rocker, I love this kid.
5) Brian gets pissed off because Ms. Carlin tries to take his picture.
6) Sean Curry loves his tea so much. He was all dressed up in jeans and jean jacket. This kid is so boss, for reals.
7) New member, Chris, from my forensic science class, joins.
8) Kayla and Johnny Picarello were talking on their own picnic table, flirts, get a room.
9) By the end of the last pot, there was the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen. It was a double rainbow, and it was the brightest I've ever seen.

Overall, I am quite pleased with attendance. The energy level was a bit up and down, to be expected... Brian doesn't believe in ... ahem... so that could be the reason for his aggression. I'm just kidding. Sean mothafuckin Curry, he's the man.

Listen everyone, it's been fun. Let's continue to enjoy this while it lasts and get more people to join. What it comes down to is that we all share the common thread of being humans. We share joy, we share suffering. The more we explore ourselves and accept all that we are and are not, the more we can connect with one another empathetically and compassionately. I'm about connecting with people and having people connect with themselves on a more conscious and universal level. I love my life and I am happy. Let's see where we can go with this.

One love,
Hill

The truth has arrived

For the past couple of weeks, we, attendees of Columbia Greene Community College, have been a part of what would be deemed a revolution. In the hard times we go through emotionally, spiritually, psychologically and financially, young students from the Greene have taken it upon themselves to express their best selves in order to express the love energy.

Sit and drink tea with us, watch, you laugh but you'll be the one showing up the following session.

We've started with a few rules.

1)Invite fascinating human beings.
2)Each new person that joins the group is unique and interesting. Basically, have love for your neighbor.
3)Everyone has to bring their own cup.
4)We steep only loose tea, no tea bags. (no tea bagging allowed)
5)Everyone has their turn to bring food. (crumpets, scones, muffins, donuts etc...)

Madeline hooked it up with some Rice Krispie treats...
I did the tea bagging ceremony...
and love, laughter and joy ensued.

Cheers,
Hillel
